The Seven Scheduling Laws

1. Law 1

   Materials before experts — no expert is called until materials are staged and predecessors done.

   材料先行:专家进场前,材料就位、前置完成。

2. Law 2

   Measure the real thing — no rough-in until the governing fixture is on site and measured.

   实物量尺:洁具不到场不定位。

3. Law 3

   Batch the scarce trade — multi-day continuous batches, never day-bounced.

   批量成势:稀缺工种连续多日批,不跨场跳。

4. Law 4

   Label and hand off — veterans label everything; helpers continue the thread.

   标注接力:师傅标号走人,帮手接尾。

5. Law 5

   Anchor / Sponge / Batch — F2 anchor, F1 duplex sponge, Astoria batch site.

   锚/海绵/批量场。

6. Law 6

   Sequence out the rework — covers after tests, LVP after cabinets, tile before toilets.

   把返工排出去。

7. Law 7

   Green-light dispatch — predecessors done + materials staged, or don't call.

   绿灯派工:不绿灯不叫人。

Occupied-Building Rules (5W126, tenant target Oct 1)

• Lease target Oct 1 — loud phase Aug 31–Sep 18 happens in an empty building.
• The common stair is egress: no material or debris, not for an hour.
• F2 isolates on its own basement branch valve; F3 keeps water. F3's 100A panel: TENANT — DO NOT TOUCH.
• Zip-wall at F2 door, stair runner, Zoli sweeps daily. After Oct 1: 8–5 weekdays only.
• Miguel paints common areas after F2 traffic ends (~Oct 5), before showings.

Risk register (top 3)

• RISK 1 -- Countertop lead time: F2 CTP is ordered off the F3 template (order by 9/4). Any fabricator delay lands directly on F2 finish week. Mitigation: written fab date at order time; prefab top as fallback.
• RISK 2 -- Con Ed service check (Astoria): the only item nobody on the crew can accelerate. Mitigation: file earliest, chase weekly, keep AS electrical rough independent of the answer.
• RISK 3 -- Single-craftsman dependency: Charlie (plumbing/HVAC) and Miguel (plaster/sand/paint) are single points; one sick day slides the chain. Mitigation: Garami Zoli covers WSR/DWV, Villmos covers HVAC heads, Fridays stay open as recovery buffer.

• Q1. F2 fixtures on site and measurable by Tue 9/1 9am?
• Q2. Astoria Thursday: which floor first; dumpster/access/utilities arranged?
• Q3. AS-F1 second bathroom — decide by Wed 9/3 (RA filing check + fixtures by 9/8 if yes).
• Q4. Viamarche confirmed for Fri 9/4 (F3 outlets) + Tue 9/8 (test + covers)?
